Week 7 (Phase 2) 15-08-22 to 19-08-22

It was the last week of our teaching practice phase 2. The week was full of programs. On Monday the school celebrated the 75th independence day. We also got the opportunity to participate in the programs. The function started by offering flowers to Gandhi statue, followed by it the headmaster hoisted the flag. Independence day message was given by the headmaster, representatives from LP, UP and HS sections.
There was independence day rally by the SPC and JRC cadets of the school. After that there was variety of cultural programs by the students.
On tuesday there was a quiz program based on freedom struggle. Many students participated in the quiz.

On the same day I have taken my innovative lesson to class 9 students.
On thursday I have completed the lessons in 8th and 9th class. I have conducted achievement test on life skills as part of my project work. After the class there was a farewell party to the teachers of the school who got promoted and also to the one who got transfer. We also attended the farewell party.
Friday was the last day in the school. We have announced the prizes for the students for drawing competition and poster making competition on road safety in the school assembly. The prizes were distributed by the school headmaster.
We have distributed sweets to the teachers and students of the school. It was difficult for me to bid farewell to the school. The students also got emotional hearing that we are leaving the school.
The phase 2 teaching practice was memorable and unforgettable experience for me. It was filled with love and care from the teachers of the school and respect from the students. As a prospective teacher I could learn many things from the school and I am totally happy with it and cherished all the moments in the school.

Week 2 (Phase 1 ) 10-01-22 to 15-01-22

The second week was very good and our teachers came for observation also in the same week.  First day I had 2 continuous classes in 8I. I was happy with the class since the students were satisfied with my class and they answered all the questions asked by me. Also in the afternoon we got the opportunity to serve food to the students under mid day meal program. It was a different experience for me.        On tuesday there was a strike all around Kerala, but I got opportunity to took classes for 8I students before the school closed. On the very next day our teachers Viji teacher and Chithra teacher came to the school for class observation. Both of them observed my classes together. But unfortunately my lap top stop working at the middle of my class, but I managed tge class. Both teachers gave me necessary suggestions to improve my class.
