Week 5 (Phase 2) 01/08/22 to 05/08/22

On the fifth week there was only 3 working days due to the heavy rain. I had conducted achievement test to the students of 9 F. As there was holidays the students got enough time to study. I was happy seeing their results. They have performed well in the test. On thursday and friday I got enough periods to complete the lesson plans. A new student joined the school and he was in my class 8C. I got the opportunity to welcome the student to the class.
I have also taken the classes to impart life skills to the students as part of my project work. I am planning to conduct a poster making competition on Road safety to the students. As a part of it I have asked the students to make posters and bring it on the next week.
On friday there was a program of school radio. The students presented some stories and songs.

As part of innovative work in semester 4, I have created a game 'fun with cards' a card game to teach the topic Levers. Students can easily learn the type of levers and its examples using this game. Teachers can use this game to evaluate the understanding of the students on the topic levers. It can be also used to check the previous knowledge of the students.

World Wide Web The web was created in 1989 by English scientist Sir  Tim Berners-Lee , working at CERN (The European Organization for Nuclear Research) in Geneva, Switzerland. Since then, Berners-Lee has played an active role in guiding the development of web standards (such as the mark-up languages in which web pages are composed), in recent years has advocated his vision of a Semantic web. The first web browser was invented in 1990 by Sir Tim Berners-Lee. His browser was called World Wide Web and later renamed Nexus.By 1991 the World Wide Web was open for business. The introduction of www accelerated the growth of internet. The concept of www got accelerated with the creation of a web browser with graphical user interface for the web. Mosaic (1993) was one of the first graphical web browsers.  Netscape, was the first commonly available web browser with a graphical user interface. 1998: Web publishing tools are now available, issuing an emergence of blogs.     ...
