Teaching practice Phase 2 - Week 1(04-07-22 to 08-07-22)

As part of the second phase of school internship program I have been sent to Government High School, Avanavanchery. Along with me two other trainees are also there.

On the first day we reached the school and met the headmaster and the concerned teachers. We have collected the time table also. On the second day their was school assembly and their was a program 'vayanakalari'. Malayalamanorama news paper was provided to the school by a tution centre near by the school. Prize distribution for the students who secured prizes in 'kettezhuthu' and literary competition were done during the assembly.

I have my first class in 8th class and I was happy to meet the students. This week I have completed 3 lesson plans. In some of the classes it was difficult for me to manage the students. I some how managed them. The teachers and the headmaster of the school are friendly and cooperative. 
On wednesday the student police cadets of the school conducted a program on drug abuse awareness in every class and the students took pledge to prevent drug abuse.

Every day we got the opportunity to serve food for the students. I feel happy to serve food to the kids.

On friday there was assembly and the inauguration of various clubs were done by Shaiju sir from DIET. He was the ex faculty of the school.
As a whole the first week was very good and filled with many activities. It was a very good start for the second phase teaching practice.

World Wide Web The web was created in 1989 by English scientist Sir  Tim Berners-Lee , working at CERN (The European Organization for Nuclear Research) in Geneva, Switzerland. The first web browser was invented in 1990 by Sir Tim Berners-Lee. His browser was called World Wide Web and later renamed Nexus.By 1991 the World Wide Web was open for business. The introduction of www accelerated the growth of internet. The concept of www got accelerated with the creation of a web browser with graphical user interface for the web. Mosaic (1993) was one of the first graphical web browsers.  Netscape, was the first commonly available web browser with a graphical user interface. 1998: Web publishing tools are now available, issuing an emergence of blogs.     ...
